The Firkin Whisky Co. is all about friendship and character. Two old mates meet in bar in Tokyo. One is an ex Head Of Malts for UDV/Diageo, Mr Mike Collings, the other, the notorious Mr Raw Cask, independent bottler Mr Robin Tucek. Together they agree that they can produce independently bottled whisky like no other and so they created The Firkin Whisky Co.  For Mike and Robin it’s all about using years of experience and two incredibly developed palates to pick and create whiskies that are at the perfect point of maturation. Bottle them at the perfect alcohol percentage for maximum flavour and enjoyment.  As the lads say, “Our sole aim is to produce and share whiskies that absolutely Firkin delicious.”

Owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux the Tullibardine Highland Distillery was set up to produce a light, nutty malt which was mostly used when young and aged in refill casks for buyer-own blends. You can now expect more high toned floral notes with the nuttiness being toned down on previous bottlings.

This single malt whisky was distilled at the Tullibardine distillery, first matured in an first fill ex bourbon barrel before being placed in a combination (50%) ex-Oloroso Sherry & ex-Amontillado Sherry Casks and left to mature. Bottled at 48.9% abv as part of the The Firkin Whisky Co. Limited Edition Single Cask Series.

Only 306 bottles were produced for worldwide distribution.
