That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

The English Whisky Company distill English single malt whisky at the aptly named St. George’s distillery with their own logo featuring St. George and the dragon he’s said to have so bravely vanquished. Well, they weren’t going to turn down the chance to have a scrap with a dragon on one of their labels were they? Their dragon, potentially a connoisseur, appears to have some gorgeous golden Boutique-y whisky amongst his hoard of treasure.

Aged for 12 years and only 299 bottles were produced at 63.4% ABV.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Sooty smoke and lemon citrus, sweet peat and creamy toffee with hints of menthol.

Palate: Orchard fruits and earthy peat meet red chillies and black pepper.

Finish: Long and smoky with charred lemon rind and more smoky goodness.
