The palate is filled with flavours of red fruits, caramel and vanilla and a long, powerful, rounded finish.

Background Information:
The House of G.H. MUMM first launched a rosé champagne in 1957 under the name of Mumm Cordon Rosé. In 1958, Léonard Foujita, Japanese artist and friend of René Lalou, Chairman of G.H. MUMM, offered the House a fresco portraying the “Virgin Mary in a vineyard”. The rose in this painting became the emblem of the cuvée and was reproduced on the neck label of bottles of Cordon Rosé. During a presidential banquet held at the Elysée Palace when Cordon Rosé was served for the first time, the sommelier was overwhelmed with requests for empty bottles from distinguished guests who immediately had them signed by the artist.

In 1995, the rose was replaced by the Royal Warrant insignia, a distinction which identifies the House of G.H. MUMM as an official supplier to the court of Her Majesty The Queen of England. The famous flower is now found on the top of the capsule.
