A small selection of casks are carefully chosen and the contents bottled at natural cask strength. The result is a delicious fruity whisky which is creamy on the palate.
This Mortlach single malt was distilled on the 31st of August 1999 and left to mature in an American Oak 1st fill bourbon barrel for 18 years. It was bottled on the 31st of January 2018.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet vanilla and ripe tropical fruit aromas.
Palate: Creamy with butterscotch, stewed apple and melon.
Finish: Fresh lime.
