Designed to support our local bars and restaurants survive during this unprecedented time we have created a series of whisky tastings pack like no other.

This pack will support a fund to help bars in Melbourne when the lockdown restrictions are lifted. This could be through free tastings, bottle donations or advertising.

Dugite Australian Whisky (30ml)

Dugite is a blended grain whiskey, incorporating some of the Great Southern Distilling Company’s premium single malt whisky and mixed grain whiskey (barley, corn, wheat and rye), resulting in a smooth and well-balanced dark spirit. Dugite is highly approachable and flavoursome. Delicious drunk neat, mixed with a dash of dry ginger, or as the base in a whiskey cocktail, this is a whiskey for the everyday Australian. 40% abv

Tiger Snake Rye Of The Tiger Australian Whisky  (30ml)

This Australian Whisky is hand distilled from a mash of 60% Rye and 40% Pale Malt Barley. The Rye was selected from the pristine fields on the South Coast of WA, which enjoy a cool Mediterranean climate. This Rye Of The Tiger has been twice distilled in small batch copper pot stills at our Albany Distillery on the edge of Princess Royal Harbour. This is a limited Single cask release and represents a unique place in time as Western Australia’s first Rye Whiskey. 55% abv

Tiger Snake Cask Strength Australian Whisky  (30ml)

The Tiger Snake is Australia’s first legal Sour Mash Whiskey. The inspiration for Tiger Snake comes from those great Tennessee Whiskeys and Kentucky Bourbons. The team at the Great Southern Distillery have used a classic grain bill of corn, rye and malted barley, sourced entirely from the pristine fields of Western Australia. Now available in its most natural state, cask strength. Bottled at 65.6% from barrel SM12.

Limeburners Directors Cut M326 Australian Single Malt Whisky  (30ml)

Directors Cut M326 has been smoked with peat collected by hand from near the ‘Valley of the Giants’ and has been matured in an old American Oak ex-Bourbon cask and then finished in an old Australian ex-Sherry cask. 61% abv

Limeburners Port cask Cask Strength Australian Single Malt Whisky  (30ml)

Limeburners Barrel Strength Single Malts are 61% abv. They are bottled exactly as they come out of the barrel with the use of some local rain water to achieve a consistent alcohol by volume. As the distillery do not use any caramel colouring or cold filtration, each expression shows the unique qualities of the barrel(s) it has been in.

Made and hand bottled at the Great Southern Distillery on the harbour’s edge in Albany, this complex and elegant single malt whisky is distilled in traditional small batch copper pot stills from local barley. It is bottled from one ex Port barrel.
