Hyde whisky is a multi award winning product carefully selected from Irelands very best whiskey distilleries. They then selected the best casks for maturation which are sourced directly from distilleries and bodegas around the world. The result is Irish whiskey as it should be, influenced by Sherry, Rum, Bourbon, Stout Beer and Port.

All the whiskey from Hyde is non chill filtered which means you receive it as natural as it gets, full of character and no colour added.

Taking its name from Douglas Hyde who was the first President of Ireland back in 1938. The Hyde No.7 is distilled using Irish malted barley and matured in Oloroso Sherry hogsheads before being bottled at 46% abv.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Melted Terrys’ Chocolate orange, malted barley, baking spices of all spice, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, lemon meringue pie and ripe stone fruits.

Taste: Citrus led vanilla creme patisserie, dark fruits of raisins, plum and fig, stewed red apples and summer berries.

Finish: Treacle drizzled over spiced cake, summer pudding and salted caramel.
