This Glenrothes was originally released for the travel retail market and a very popular expression it was. Now discontinued, however we have a small amount in stock which will not last long.
The spirit from Glenrothes was matured in equal amounts of American oak ex-bourbon and European oak ex-Sherry casks.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is very fruity with toffee apples, fresh vanilla spice and tropical fruit salad.
Palate: The Sherry casks make a wonderful appearance, sweet, vanilla chantilly cream, apple ice cream, dried pear and mango.
Finish: More of that creamy vanilla, a little bit of oak and a mouthful of tropical fruit.
