Dalmunach distillery is a distillery located in Carron in the whisky region of Speyside The distillery was built for the Chivas Regal blends and owned by the Pernod Ricard group. The water source comes from the nearby Ballinom Burn, which originates in the Mannoch Hills. The distillery is named for a nearby pool on the River Spey. The distillery is located beside the Speyside and Moray Way, long-distance footpaths in the region.

North Star Spirits is an independent bottler based in Glasgow, Scotland. They pride themselves on bottling the finest single malt Scotch whisky, blended whisky and blended malt Scotch whisky. Producing artisan single cask whisky from various regions of Scotland as well as bottling rums, gins and Bourbon whiskey. All products are small batch, bottled at cask strength.

This Whisky was distilled a mere 2 years after the distillery opened in 2016, and aged for 6 years before being bottled at 56.4% ABV with just 285 bottled being produced.
