Amrut Kadhambam Indian Single Malt Whisky (700ml)

Volume: 700ml           ABV: 50%           Age: No Age Statement           Country: India           Chill Filtered?: Non Chill Filtered

According to Indian Mythology, when Gods and Rakshasas – the demons – churned the oceans using the mountain Meru as a churner, a golden pot sprang out containing the Elixir of Life. That was called the “Amrut”. The great founders of the distillery aptly named it Amrut Distilleries.

To retain the natural characteristics of this oak aged Indian Malt Whisky, they do not chill filter and it comes straight from the barrel in its natural colour.

Kadhambam is a Tamil word meaning combination or mixture. True to its name, Amrut Kadhambam is a novel Single Malt that combines in itself Rum, Sherry and Brandy notes. Regular Single Malt is further matured consecutively for a further period in each casks that were previously used to mature Rum, Sherry and Brandy. In this process the Malt successively gains the aroma and the notes of Rum, Sherry and Brandy. The result is a truly gratifying mix of notes. As a succession of subtle and complex notes unravel, Amrut Kadhambam is sure to exhilarate your nose and palate with a first-of-kind experience.
